An 83-year-old man was found dead at the Tome’s Landing Marina in Port Deposit on Thursday afternoon, according to police.

At about 3 p.m., Natural Resources Police officers responded to Tome’s Landing Marina in Port Deposit for a report of a body in the water. The Water Witch Fire Company in Cecil County found an 83-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials did not release the name of the victim.

The body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore. The Natural Resources Police investigation is ongoing at this time.
