Aberdeen police officers arrested a man Saturday  after finding a dead person in a vehicle on a property in the 1100 block of South Philadelphia Boulevard in Aberdeen.

New Castle, Delaware, police requested help from Aberdeen police in finding a man they described as “homicidal” and a missing person at 5 p.m., Saturday, according to a news release from the Aberdeen department.

Aberdeen officers responded to the property on Philadelphia Boulevard, located a suspect and discovered human remains in a vehicle on the property. Aberdeen officers then arrested the suspect.

Sgt. Jason Neidig of the Aberdeen Police Department said no further comment would be made on the incident. He said the New Castle County Police Department is in charge of the investigation. That police department did not return calls for comment.
