A Maryland State Trooper and his two K-9s were involved in a vehicle collision on Friday afternoon, according to officials.

The crash involved the trooper’s patrol vehicle and a 2005 Isuzu Ascender, authorities said.

Maryland State Police reported that the incident occurred at approximately 3:20 p.m. on Route 155 and North Earlton.

The trooper, who was on duty at the time, and his K-9s were flown to a veterinary clinic in Annapolis for treatment of their injuries, officials revealed.

The driver of the Isuzu Ascender was transported by ambulance to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, according to police.

At this time, there is no further information on the incident.
