Boys basketball
Mt. Hebron 73, Glenelg 45: The Vikings (13-1, 8-0 Summit Division) won their 13th straight game and continued to roll. Mt. Hebron had five double-digit scorers led by Doug Cohen (12 points) and Chase Willey (12). Tai Akinlosotu (11), Cole Willey (10) and Nick Ettiene (10) also scored in double figures. For Glenelg (7-8, 4-4 Summit), Siyi Jolayemi scored 15 points.
Wilde Lake 70, River Hill 60: The Wildecats (11-4, 7-1 Sierra Division) had three double-digit scorers in the win. Noah Brazil led the way with 20 points, while Dre Hoskins added 15. Devin Wingfield chipped in 14. For River Hill (5-12, 1-8 Sierra), Justin Bishop had 19 points, Mason Rooths added 15 and Anderson Dang chipped in 12.
Liberty 71, Francis Scott Key 29: Jayden Zumbrun scored 15 points and Tristan West chipped in 13 in a balanced offensive effort for the Lions.
Towson 88, Sparrows Point 40: Pat Lovas hit 5 of 10 3-pointers and totaled 31 points to lead the Generals in the blowout win. Seven Wheeler backed him with 12 points and five rebounds. Jeremiah Harris totaled 11 points, four assists and four steals.
Joppatowne 68, Edgewood 67: The Mariners edged out the Rams thanks in part to Braxton Jackson who finished with 19 points, 13 rebounds and four assists. Phil Clark backed him with 16 points and four steals. Anthony Council added 12 points and Kishann Smith was the fourth Mariner scoring in double figures with 10 points to go with three blocks.
Elkton 62, Aberdeen 55: The Eagles in the loss got a double-double of 13 points and 15 rebounds from McKinley Turner. Cameron Allen-Jones added nine points and 12 rebounds.
Girls basketball
Mount de Sales 41, Gerstell 28: The top-seeded Sailors cruised past the eighth-seeded Falcons in the IAAM B Conference quarterfinals. Shelby Lewis had 17 points, 11 rebounds and four steals to lead the win. Mackenzie Conley scored 13 points and had seven steals.
Crofton 47, Manchester Valley 44: Despite the loss, the Mavericks got 12 points, six rebounds and four steals from Emma Penczek. Taylor Fique chipped in eight points, six rebounds and three steals. Haylee Bittinger added six points and five rebounds.
Edgewood 65, Patterson Mill 44: The Rams picked up its first win at Patterson Mill in at least 12 years, according to coach Wes Laguerre. Sam Donovan hit seven 3-pointers and totaled 28 points in the win. Lilly Smeltzer had a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds, and also blocked five shots. Jael Erickson chipped in 12 points and Samiyah Head finished with nine points and seven rebounds.
