Girls basketball
Edgewood 59, Elkton 31: Jael Erickson scored a game-high 22 points to lead the host Rams (10-3) over the Golden Elks (4-6). Erickson also pulled down five rebounds. Other top performers for Edgewood included: Sam Donovan (14 points, 3 steals), Jazmyne Jordan (8 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals) and Lily Smeltzer (9 rebounds).
Patterson Mill 45, Aberdeen 29: The Huskies beat the Eagles (5-5). Aberdeen was led by Nyjah Harris (11 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals), Kennae White (10 points, 6 rebounds) and Amara Armstrong (6 points, 3 steals).
Mount de Sales 42, Century 21: Mackenzie Conley (17 points) and Katie Carroll (11 points, 10 rebounds) led the visiting Sailors (15-4) past the Knights (2-10). The victory was the fourth straight.
Boys basketball
Joppatowne 72, Havre de Grace 63: Josiah Lawrence scored a game-high 46 points, but the host Warriors (6-4) fell to the Mariners (10-3). Havre de Grace led 36-35 in the first half. Joppatowne had four players score in double figures: Kishann Smith (24 points), Anthony Council (19 points), Dartanun Blakney (13 points) and Braxton Jackson (13 points). Friday the Mariners host Patterson Mill and the Warriors host C. Milton Wright.
C. Milton Wright 55, Aberdeen 38: The host Mustangs (5-3) beat the Eagles (4-7). Aberdeen was led by Collin Rogers (10 points), Cameron Allen-Jones (10 points) and McKinley Turner (8 points). The win halted a two-game slide. Monday Aberdeen hosts Kenwood.
Harford Tech 80, Perryville 49: The visiting Cobras (7-4) used a second-half surge to beat the Panthers (4-4). Harford Tech led 32-25 in the first half. The Cobras were led by Levi Ridley (17 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block), Karon Evans (16 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals), Zach Lane (11 points, 4 rebounds, 1 block), Jalil James (10 points, 5 rebounds), and Mateo Hiett (8 points, 9 rebounds). The win was the third straight.
North Harford 62, North East 53: The visiting Hawks (5-4) outscored the Indians (4-8) by nine points in the second half to win. The game was tied 28-28 in the first half. North Harford was led by Demetrious Densmore (14 points, 12 steals) and Nick Chaney (14 points).
Fallston 70, Rising Sun 62: The host Cougars (7-6) opened with a 20-14 run and beat the Tigers (4-5). Fallston was led by Oliver Shamburg with 17 points, including four 3-pointers, Mikey Griffin Jr. with 14 points and John Wirth with 11 points, including three 3-pointers.
