Wrestling

Century 49, Hammond 25: The Knights picked up pins from Eli Stein, Gram Knott, Brayden Brassell, Dylan Vroom, Talin Evans, Cameron Wagner and Cristian Prince as they improved to 23-10 on the season.

Liberty 60, Guilford Park 18: The Lions picked up pins from Renner O’Brien (215), Connor Bryson (106), Sammy Perretta (120), Franklin Schaefer (138), Jared Piek (144), Parker Reynolds (150), Dylan Ohler (157) and Kevin Kern (190) in the win. For Guilford Park, Elijah Fields (285) and Leandro Saravia (126) each won.

Patterson Mill 59, Fallston 21: The Huskies got pins from Owen Vallowe (113 pounds), Gabe Filling (120), Cole Christian (132), Christian Joglar (144), Owen Henfey (150), Gabe Mims (165) and Gavin Voelker (215). Jonathan Fletcher (175) won by technical fall. Fallston got pins from Aiden Fodel (126), John Loss (157) and Evan Conner (190). Liam Watson (138) won by decision.

Boys basketball

Wilde Lake 93, Reservoir 68: Noah Brazil poured in 33 points to lead the Wildecats over the Gators. In the loss, Reservoir got 18 points each from Bryan Reyes and Joshua Jones, with Reyes handing out six assists and Jones grabbing five rebounds.

Mt. Hebron 69, River Hill 55: The Vikings (9-1) won their ninth straight game. Tai Akinlosotu led the way with 21 points, while Chase Willey added 12. Ezra Yauger chipped in 11 points, while Cole Willey had 10. For River Hill (3-9), Nick Kogut finished with 17 points.

Glenelg 64, Howard 63: The Gladiators (6-5) moved back over .500 and completed the come-from-behind win after trailing by five entering the fourth. Ty Jenkins led the charge with 18 points, 12 of which came in the fourth. Siyi Jolayemi chipped in 15 points, while Steven Mbuyamba had 13. For Howard (10-2), Alex Reeb had 14 points and was one of four double-digit scorers. Jamie Delrosso-Freeman (12), Griff Garner (11) and Josh Ademiju (10) also scored double digits.

Girls basketball

Perry Hall 50, Catholic 34: Tamiya Brown struck for a season-high 22 points to lead the Gators in the nonconference win. Belen Ros totaled nine points and eight rebounds. Tammy Tan added eight points and Sophie Blevins had seven.

Oakland Mills 63, Marriotts Ridge 26: The Scorpions (8-2, 4-0 Summit Division) maintained first place in the division. It was a well-balanced contest led by 19 points from Chloe Grenway. Three other Scorpions also scored in double figures: Jeriah Shipp (14), Destiny Macharia (11) and Heaven Alexander (10). For Marriotts Ridge (2-9, 0-5 Summit), Lamees Bazzi had six points.

Glenelg 50, Howard 46: The Gladiators (6-4) earned the narrow win led by the frontcourt duo of MJ Dabiri and Jordan Henggeler. Dabiri finished with a team-high 16, while Henggeler chipped 14, 12 of which came in the fourth quarter. For Howard (8-3), Kelsey Wimmer scored 20 points.

Mt. Hebron 50, River Hill 39: The Vikings (6-4) handed the Hawks their first county loss of the season and ended a three-game losing steak. Michelle Nzelibe scored a season-high 20 points, while Pearl Prasartkarnka chipped in 15 points. For River Hill (9-1), Dylan Watson had 18 points, while Olivia Creighton had 12.

Reservoir 53, Wilde Lake 33: The Gators (9-1) won their seventh game in a row by pulling away in the fourth quarter. Jasmin Shleton scored a season-high 23 points, while Leah Lauer knocked down four 3-pointers and had 12 points. For Wilde Lake (4-6), both Maggie Shidle and Quinn Corkeron had eight points.
