Here’s a roundup of high school varsity action on Thursday, March 27.

Baseball

C. Milton Wright 4, North Harford 3: Down 3-1 going into the bottom of the seventh, the Mustangs rallied for three runs. Brady Perry and Eric Penney drove in runs to tie the game, setting up Tyler Adamo for the game-winning hit. Ryan Herman also had an RBI and his double in the seventh started the rally. Landon Melnick threw a complete-game seven-hitter to get the win.

Harford Tech 16, Edgewood 0: Hunter Arnett went three innings and struck out seven and the host Cobras shutout the Rams. He only allowed one baserunner on a hit by pitch. Offensively, he went 2-for-2 with two doubles, a sacrifice fly, and 3 RBIs. The Cobras travel to Bo Manor on Monday.

Patterson Mill 11, Elkton 1: The host Huskies scored nine runs in the fourth inning to surge past the Golden Elks. Patterson Mill was led by Mason Hemelt, who went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored, and Brycen Hunter worked four innings, gave up four hits, one run, one walk and struck out seven.

Kenwood 14, Dundalk 5: The visiting Bluebirds beat the Owls. Freshman starter Dominic Zorilla got the win and started the game and Kyle Rineman went (4-for-4) with a triple and four RBIs. He also came in as relief pitcher and struck out 10.

Eastern Tech 8, Randallstown 6: Brandon Moore doubled twice, tripled and drove in three runs to lead the Mavericks. He also pitched the first four innings to get the win. Paul Hester added two hits and an RBI, while Rob Peterson also drove in a run.

Softball

Bel Air 4, Bohemia Manor 2: Sofia Gallahue threw a three-hitter, striking out 11 to lead the Bobcats. Leah McGivern went 3-for-4 with two RBIs. All three of her hits were doubles. Alaina Torrence and Gallahue each had two hits with Torrence driving in a run.

Patterson Mill 9, Rising Sun 5: Lily Baldwin tripled, doubled twice and drove in seven runs to lead the Huskies (4-0) to their second win over the two-time 2A state champs in as many days. Savannah Reedy had three hits and two RBIs in the win. Audrey March and Izzy Hiebler each had two hits.

Dulaney 16, Perry Hall 5: The visiting Lions built a 10-2 lead after three innings. Kimani Dennis went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs. Avery Remeto was also 3-for-5 and drove in two runs. Carley Desi added two hits and two RBIs.

Hereford 17, Parkville 9: The Bulls trailed after four innings, but outscored the Knights 11-2 over the final three innings. Lauren Clement had three hits – a home run, a triple and a double – and drove in three runs. Morgan Hall and Alex Frank each had three hits and an RBI. Taylor Roberts and Ali Wegrzyn each totaled two RBIs.

Girls lacrosse

Severn 13, Mount de Sales 9: Eleanor Beard  (4 goals) and Kelsey Pozdol (3 goals) led the visiting Admirals (5-0) over the Sailors (1-3).

Fellowship of Christian Athletes 19, Jemicy 6: The visiting Falcons (4-2, 1-0 Chesapeake Area Lacrosse League) took a 13-4 lead in the first half and beat the Moose. FCA was led by Maddie Krafchik (5 goals), Abby Slawinski (4 goals) and Lauren Mumaw (3 goals). Madison Rubin scored four goals for Jemicy.
