Softball
Havre de Grace 4, Bohemia Manor 1: The Warriors broke a 1-1 tie by scoring a run in the sixth inning and two runs in the seventh inning to beat the Eagles. Brielle Croxsell drove in two runs in the win. Havre de Grace will face Patterson Mill in Tuesday’s Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference championship.
Patterson Mill 7, Rising Sun 5: The Huskies earned their spot in the conference title game on the strength of three hits and two RBIs from Audrey March. Cadence Pfistner also drove in two runs in the win. Trailing 5-3 in the bottom the sixth, the Huskies rallied for four runs to take the lead.
Fallston 11, C. Milton Wright 2: The host Cougars scored seven runs in the third inning and beat the Mustangs. Ally Underwood went three innings and struck out seven for the win. Fallston was led by Abby Marment, who went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.
Carver A&T 17, Mount Carmel 0: Lily Dennis threw a two-hitter and the visiting Wildcats shut out the Cougars. Dennis went five innings and struck out eight. On offense, Mia McGarvey led the way going 3-for-4 with a triple, a home run, four RBIs and three runs scored. Carver A&T got two RBIs each from Dennis, Haleigh Frye, and Ender Bucksbaum.
Boys lacrosse
Broadneck 18, Old Mill 3: The visiting Bruins (11-3) took a 10-2 lead in the first half and beat the Patriots (4-6). Broadneck got four goals apiece from Ryan Rambo and Blake Levicki and Wyatt Hicks had three goals.
Loyola Blakefield 11, Severn 7: The visiting Dons (11-5, 6-3 Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference) trailed in the first half before a second-half surge carried them past the Admirals (5-10, 2-7). Matt Joerres gave the Dons a 7-6 lead with four minutes left in the third quarter and Loyola never fell behind again. The previous lead, 1-0, came on a goal by Eddie Webb with 10 minutes left in the first quarter. Joerres had two goals and Cooper Pasko and Liam Finkel each had a hat trick for the Dons.
Girls lacrosse
Severna Park 20, Annapolis 3: The host Falcons beat the Panthers. Severna Park was led by Bella Van Gieson (2 goals, 3 assists), Payton Jeffers (3 goals, 1 assist) and Erin Hussey (3 goals, 1 assist). For Annapolis, Catherine King scored twice.
