Field hockey
South Carroll 3, Huntingtown 1: Alayna Enoff and Rowan Miller each had a goal and an assist to lead the host Cavaliers over the Hurricanes. Emily Maynard also scored off an assist from Olivia Carter. Caelin Lopes made two saves for South Carroll.
Manchester Valley 3, Linganore 0: Amanda Herrold had two assists to lead the host Mavericks (12-0) over the Lancers. Manchester Valley got goals from Shelby Wurzburger, Lily Brookhart and Lily Brookhart, and an assist from Taylor Figue.
Perry Hall 5, Carver A&T 2: Sophie Blevins had one goal and three assists to lead the host Gators over the Wildcats. Other standouts for Perry Hall included: Makayla Kurcoba (2 goals), Victoria Sanchez (1 goal), Brittney Hernandez (1 goal) and Delaney Evans (1 assist)..
Chesapeake-AA 2, Old Mill 1: Bryn Vickery and Lucy Culp each scored in the second half to lift the Cougars over the Patriots. Addison Hoffman gave Old Mill a 1-0 lead in the first half.
Broadneck 2, South River 0: Katelyn Kearns and Faith Everett each scored to lead the Bruins over the Seahawks.
Fallston 2, St. Paul’s 2: The Cougars earned a tie in a nonconference game. Sydney Grafton and Lilly Burns each scored goals for Fallston with Layla King assisting on both. Auggie McCarthy made 16 saves in goal.
Mt. Hebron 5, Francis Scott Key 1: The visiting Vikings beat the Eagles. Nora Bachtel scored the lone goal assisted by Audrey Baugher for F.S. Key.
Volleyball
Patterson Mill 3, C. Milton Wright 0: The Huskies topped the Mustangs, 25-18, 25-15, 25-20. For CMW, Lena Rockhill and Ana Mioduski had four kills each. Jenna Ritz had 10 assists.
Manchester Valley 3, Century 0: The visiting Mavericks beat the Knights. Manchester Valley won, 25-18, 25-16, 25-17. The Mavericks were led by Emily Troy (15 kills, 8 digs), Carly Figueira (30 assists), Emma Shaffer (7 kills, 9 digs, 4 aces).
Boys volleyball
Patterson Mill 3-3, Joppatowne 0-2: The Huskies swept the Mariners. In game one, Patterson Mill won, 25-10, 25-19, 25-12. Aidan Mackowiak had 10 kills and six aces, Vincent Kwok had one kill and 11 aces and Bryce Kelly had three kills, four aces and two blocks for the Huskies. In game two, Patterson Mill won, 25-18, 23-25, 25-13, 18-25, 15-12. The Huskies were led by Mackowiak (14 kills, 2 aces), Dylan Lewis (8 kills, 6 aces), and Konnor White (4 kills, 3 aces).
Girls soccer
Patterson Mill 7, Bohemia Manor 0: Jalynn Mayfied-Rice had two goals to lead a balanced Huskies offense. Sarah Muller, Josie Baldwin, Sam Wright, Maddy Wlodarczyk and Abbie Wysong all had goals. Sarah McNeirney and Hilary Poling each had two assists.
Francis Scott Key 5, Catoctin 0: Abby Rieger had a hat trick and Kensi Bancroft had three assists to lead the visiting Eagles over the Cougars. Other standouts included Camryn Gillis (2 goals) and Arianna Sellman (1 assist).
Liberty 8, Boonsboro 0: Hannah Devincent and Bryce Sarver each had a hat trick to lead the visiting Lions over the Warriors. Mady Smith made three saves and Maeve Reese had one save for Liberty.
Boys soccer
Annapolis 2, Southern 0: Alejandro Peña and Robert Menjivar each scored to lead the Panthers over the Bulldogs.
Liberty 2, Poly 1: Lucas Britos had a goal and an assist to lead the visiting Lions over the Engineers.
Patterson Mill 6, Bohemia Manor 0: James Richardson made four saves and the Huskies shut out the Eagles. Standouts for Patterson Mill included: Blake Bonsol (2 goals), Lyndon Louderback (1 goal), Carson Harting (1 goal), Reza Mousavi (1 goal), Grayson McLaughlin (1 goal), Nate Kiefer (2 assists), Owen Young (1 assist), Louderback (1 assist), and Phil Tolliver (1 assist).
Key School 3, Gunston Day 2: Anthony Aguilar scored the game-winner on a header off of a corner to lift the host Obezags (7-3, 5-0 Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association C Conference) over the Herons (4-3, 1-2). Monday, Key travels to Friends. Wednesday, Gunston Day hosts Mount Carmel.
