Here’s a roundup of high school varsity action on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

Field hockey

Fallston 4, Perryville 0: Olivia Parker had two goals as the Cougars shut out the Panthers. Layla King and London Baldwin also scored in the win. Perryville goalie Berlyn Griffin made six saves.

Bel Air 7, North East 0: Six different Bobcats scored in the win. Maeve Alliger had two goals. Other goals came from Paige Feick, Bella Leon, Amelia Mason, Kaitlyn Carlsen and Kate Gaughan.

North Harford 2, Rising Sun 1: Mollie Fialcowitz scored off an assist from Liv Tucker, and Lila Barnaba later added a goal as the Hawks topped the Tigers.

Hereford 8, Perry Hall 0: In the loss, Gators goalie RaeLeigh Sparzak made 16 saves.

Centennial 1, Reservoir 0: The Eagles (4-0) edged out the Gators in a defensive battle to remain undefeated. Caroline Cudzilo scored the lone goal, her seventh of the season, while Jane Baldy made two saves.

Bryn Mawr 3, Mount de Sales 0: Simone Schwartz , Sabine Schwartz and Audrey Lutz  each scored and the visiting Mawrtians (4-0, 1-0 Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference) shut out the Sailors (2-3, 0-2). Bryn Mawr’s defense has yet to give up a goal.

Crofton 3, Annapolis 0: Olivia Feeley had a goal and assist and Sophia Galarza and Grace Morris each scored a goal and the host Cardinals shut out the Panthers.

Indian Creek 6, Annapolis Area Christian 0: Host Indian Creek 4-2, 3-1 IAAM C Conference):beat AACS (1-3, 0-3) to extend its winning streak to three games. Friday, Indian Creek hosts Catholic and AACS hosts Park.

Long Reach 6, Marriotts Ridge 2: The Lightning (4-0) won their 11th consecutive Howard County regular-season game dating back to last season. Junior Sam Legge netted a hat trick and added an assist, while Jillian Shanley had a goal and two assists. Leilani Stewart had a goal and an assist and Zoe Wright also scored.

Mt. Hebron 5, River Hill 1: Anna Lindner scored two goals to lead the host Vikings over the Hawks. Mount Hebron led 2-1 in the first half. Maya Chan scored River Hill’s goal, while Annie Levine made 14 saves.

Volleyball

Perry Hall 3, Carver A&T 1: The Gators prevailed in four tight sets, 25-21, 25-22, 24-26, 25-21. Abbie Znamirowski led the win with nine kills and three aces. Addison Dunlap added seven kills, five aces and 18 assists.

Boys soccer

Bel Air 4, Havre de Grace 0: Galen Klisiewecz scored twice and the visiting Bobcats shut out the Warriors. Cooper Rey and Blake Stallard also scored. Bel Air’s defense held Havre de Grace to no shots on goal.

Harford Tech 4, Manchester Valley 0: The Cobras earned a nonconference shutout victory. Aiden Warren, Brody Smith and Zach Lane each had a goal and an assist. Chris Jimenez also netted a goal. Brendan Streib (2 saves) and Aiden Sullivan (4 saves) split time in goal combining on the shutout.

Patterson Mill 4, Elkton 0: Mason Teter needed to make just four saves to earn the shutout. Huskies goals came from David Kim, Phil Tolliver, Finn Pantazelos and Nate Kiefer. Assists were earned by Caleb Zerbe, Pantazelos and Phil Tolliver.

Gilman 1, McDonogh 1: The Greyhounds (4-1-2, 2-1-1 Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference) and host Eagles (3-0-2, 2-0-2) played to a draw. Friday, Gilman hosts Curley and McDonogh travels to Concordia Prep.

Girls soccer

Century 1, Thomas S. Wootton 0: Lexi McGinnis scored assisted by Mia Savage and the host Knights beat the Patriots. Megan Taltavull made four saves in Century’s second shutout.

Mount de Sales 2, Severn 1: Grace Trott had a goal and an assist to lead the Sailors (3-11, 2-0 IAAM B Conference) over the host Admirals (3-2-1, 0-2). Mount de Sales led 1-0 in the first half.

Golf

Towson 145, Dulaney 146: The Generals edged out Dulaney by a stroke. For the Lions, Quinn Collins shot a 33 to lead. Connor Dow posted a 36, Spencer Morris shot a 38 and Ryan Dannenfelser carded a 39.

Atholton boys 56, Oakland Mills 0: Michael Baptiste led the way for the Raiders in the win with 17 points, while Dylan Giuliano added 16.

Atholton boys 56, Guilford Park 25: Baptiste and Giuliano pushed Atholton to a second win on the afternoon, while Eamon Bloechl scored eight for Guilford Park.

Atholton girls 43, Oakland Mills 8: Cate Lee spearheaded the Raiders in the win with a match-best 17 points, while Lucy Lumen had eight for Oakland Mills.

Atholton girls 43, Guilford Park 4: Cate Lee’s performance also pushed the Raiders over the Panthers.

Marriotts Ridge boys 93, Long Reach 79: Zach Skinner led the way for the Mustangs in the win with 25 points. The Mustangs remained undefeated as all four players finished with at least 22. For Long Reach, Ethan Ruthman had 23 points.

Marriotts Ridge girls 70, Long Reach 6: Morgan Swidersky (22) and Chloe Lee (20) guided the Mustangs to a dominant win as they remained undefeated.
