Volleyball

Patterson Mill 3, Perryville 0: The visiting Huskies beat the Panthers, 25-15, 25-14, 25-10. For Perryville, Bri Bowman had nine digs and Brooke Taylor finished with six kills, four aces and seven digs.

Field hockey

South Carroll 4, Chopticon 0: Caelin Lopes made six saves to earn the shutout for the Cavaliers, in the process recording the 200th save of her high school career. Dakota Clemens had two goals and Alayna Enoff had a goal and two assists for South Carroll. Emily Maynard also added a goal, while Rowan Miller and Carly Tanis had assists.

Manchester Valley 12, North Harford 0: Shelby Wurzburger led the Mavericks’ offensive eruption with four goals. Lily Brookhart backed her with three. Amanda Herrold had a goal and three assists, while Sophie Baer had a goal and two assists. Taylor Fique, Barb Guest and Georgia Wurzburger also had goals.

Girls soccer

John Carroll 3, Archbishop Spalding 2: Bella Ottone scored twice and Piper McCue had a goal to lead the Patriots (2-1-1, 1-0 Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference) over the Cavaliers (1-3-1, 0-1). Ava Porrovicchio had an assist for John Carroll.

Golf

North Harford 193, Rising Sun 211: The Hawks won the match at Geneva Farm. Lucas Parks shared the low score of the day, shooting a 34. Also for North Harford, Coulter Parsons shot a 38, Greg Sebring and Tyler Fialcowitz each carded 40s and Logan Rakestraw added a 41.
