A pedestrian was killed after he was struck by a vehicle while he was walking in the short lane of Route 715 in Aberdeen early Tuesday morning, according to a news release from the Aberdeen Police Department.
At 6:37 a.m., Tuesday, Francis Nyeswah, 72, of Pykesville, was walking in the portion of the road where a car would drive, when he was struck near Cirelli Court by a 2018 Chevy Traverse, according to police.
Kenneth Scott-Kosh, of Edgewood, was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, according to the release, and he remained at the scene until police and medical personnel arrived.
The Harford County Sheriff’s Office Crash Team is investigating the crash, and no charges have been filed, police said.
