Each week throughout the winter season, The Aegis will select two boys and girls basketball players of the week. The public will then have the opportunity to vote which of the finalists will earn the honor of the overall Harford County Basketball Player of the Week.
Voting will run through the end of the day on Wednesday, readers can vote once per hour, and the final results will be published Friday.
Last week, Fallston’s Brooke Bolesta received 66% of the reader vote to be named the overall Player of the Week. She was originally selected for averaging a double-double across three games, all Cougars victories. Aberdeen’s Devin Murphy, who averaged 16 points and five rebounds over three contests, finished second in voting with 13%.
Here are the basketball players of the week from Jan. 19-25.
