Harford County Council President Pat Vincenti has ordered an investigation into Harford Schools Superintendent Sean Bulson, after claims came to light Tuesday that Bulson may have reported school property stolen from a New Orleans hotel room in 2024.

Harford County Executive Bob Cassilly said in a Tuesday statement that Bulson should resign.
“Schools Superintendent Bulson has violated the public trust. He must resign or be terminated by the School Board. Harford County and our students deserve better,” Cassilly said.
Bulson, who was hired in 2018, has faced various calls for resignation related to school safety, including handling of last year’s Joppatowne High School shooting. Most recently, Harford County Public Schools was criticized for employing a teacher aide who has active gun charges,
